About Us
The Sapekhati College was established on 11th August, 1988 by the decision of a few devoted people of Sapekhati and its surrounding areas .The college is located in a rural area in Charaideo District of Assam. Since its establishment the institution has been serving sincerely to spread educations to surrounding areas. The college provides educational upliftment to a large section of students coming from the Tea-Tribes, SC- ST, OBC, and the other neighboring states like Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
The college has a campus spread over 10.2 acres of land with adequate infrastructure facilities. The college offers B.A. in three year degree course (CBCS) which is divided by six semesters through the subjects Assamese, English, Economics, Education, History, Political Science and Sociology.

Sapekhati Colllege, a premier institution in Sapekhati has been providing higher education in the Arts stream since its  establishment in the year 1988. From its insception, a lot of dedicated teachers strive to bring the college as a leading institution of Dibrugarh University. It has been playing a key role in the academic up-liftment of disadventurous students of Sapekhati and its surrounding areas.

At present, students must have the knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Sapekhati College also have the vision of providing the knowledge of modern technology to the students like other higher educational institution, otherwise they will not able to cop up with this modern competitive world. Moreover, Sapekhati College has always kept in view on the fact that the knowledge of ICT can never transform their students in to machine. So, college is determined to develop their students in such a way so that the students can become a well human being and the ideal future citizen of our country who will have the feeling of responsibilities towards the society and the Nation and.able.to.contribute.their.best
How to reach the College
Sapekhati College is situated in Charaideo District. It is located at Sapekhati at the distance of 18 km. from Sonari Town. The Sapekhati railway station lies at a distance of 1.5 km. from College premises. It is easily accessible by a bus and train. Continuous bus service are available from Sivasagar to Sonari and from Sonari to Sapekhati.
